How updates work

Signed releases

Every update is described by a signed release file. The admin computer checks the signature and the checksum of each installer before anything is installed; a changed file is rejected and deleted.

The owner decides when

The owner sees what changed and installs now, when no session is running, or at a set time. A backup is made first; if the new version does not start, the previous one and its data come back automatically.

Gaming PCs over the club network

Each gaming PC downloads the checked package from the admin computer, checks it again, and installs it only while no customer is playing. It counts as updated only when it reports the new version.

Channels

Stable by default. Beta and internal channels exist for testing and are never switched on silently.

How licensing will work

  • The license is a signed file checked on the admin computer; an internet connection is not required
  • The software supports trial, monthly, annual and perpetual licenses and a limit on gaming PCs; the offer and prices are not decided yet
  • Before a license ends there is a warning and a grace period
  • A license problem never stops a running session and never changes balances, reservations or reports

System requirements

Windows
Windows 11 or Windows 10 22H2, Pro, Enterprise or Education, 64-bit. Home is not supported.
Admin computer
One computer on the club network that is on during opening hours; it keeps the data and the backups.
Gaming PC
A separate standard (non-administrator) Windows account for customers.
Network
A local network (Private profile). Sessions do not need the internet.

Installation in short

  2. 2Follow the first-run steps in the app: club name, opening hours, zones and prices.
  3. 3Install EasyControl Agent on each gaming PC with a one-time enrollment code.
  4. 4Sell a test session and check that the PC unlocks and locks again.

Early access

What early access means

  • The system is tried under supervision, in one club, on real computers
  • A developer or a trained technician is reachable during the pilot
  • A daily backup is also kept outside the admin computer
  • A pilot is not commercial use — it is a joint test
